The most awaited movie of Mammootty’s Thoppil Joppan released its teaser yesterday. The 24 second video features Mamtha Mohandas bragging to her friends about ‘achayan’, understandably the character performed by Mamukka. The comedy entertainer directed by Johny Antony, is scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam. The movie revolves around Joppan, who is a kabaddi lover and the captain of ‘Cheers’ kabaddi group. Also he is a strong alcoholic. Mamtha is playing the role of a clinical student, who falls in love with Joppan. Andrea Jeremiah also appears as another leading lady of the movie. The movie also stars Harisree Ashokan, Salim Kumar, Renji Panicker, Suresh Krishna, Alancier, Saju Navodaya and Baby Akshara in other pivotal roles. Thoppil Joppan is produced Noushad and Jeevan, under the banner of Grande Productions.
