Thalapathy Vijay next project after ‘Bigil’ has been officially announced yesterday. The movie is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The project has been tentatively titled as ‘Thalapathy 64’.
Director Lokesh is one of the promising young directors in Kollywood. He made his directorial debut through the movie ‘Maanagaram’. The movie received widespread recognition and was a sleeper hit. The director is currently busy with the post-production of his new movie ‘Kaithi’ starring Karthi in the lead. The movie is scheduled to release in the last week of October.
The crew of the movie includes Music director Anirudh Ravichander, the camera will be handled by Sathyan Sooryan, editing by Philomin Raj and action choreography by Stunt Silva. As per reports, Malayalam Actor Antony Varghese Pepe will be playing the antagonist in the movie. Regarding the female lead, many names have been doing rounds like Kiara Advani, Rashmika Mandanna and Raashi Khanna. But, as of now, nothing official has been announced.
The movie will be bankrolled by Xavier Britto. The makers are planning to start the shooting by the end of October and to hit the screens by Summer 2020. We can expect more details about the movie soon.
