Starring Guru Somasundaram, Ramya Pandian and others, director Raju Murugan’s political satire, Joker has been receiving high acclaims all over the state for its bold attempt. Recently National Award winning actor Dhanush has watched the film and lauded the team on his Twitter page. “Joker- Don’t know whom to appreciate—director, actor or music composer? Tears in my eyes, please do watch this movie”, posted Dhanush on Twitter. Joker, which released on 12th of August has opened to a very good positive word of mouth from the audience. While critics have given big thumbs up to the film, trade pundits had predicted that it won’t sustain at the box office but now, audiences have given their support to the team that shows and screen counts are being increased in Tamil Nadu. Danush is one of the few actors, who always support meaningful cinema. The actor has earlier produced Visaaranai and Kaaka Muttai which have won multiple awards and created huge recognition for Tamil cinema.
