Mohanam 2016 which is a tribute to Mohanlal’s career held on 15th August at Swapnanagari, Calicut. It has been 36 years since Mohanlal began to entertain the movie lovers with his acting and other activities. He has become the part of Keralite’s day-to-day life. There is no day in every Malayalee’s life without seeing him on television or mentioning his name in friendly talks. The name Lalettan is branded and is in the blood of his die-hard fans. Beginning with ‘Manjil Virinja Pookkal’ to the latest release ‘Vismayam’ he has done more than 320 movies and has worked with a number of directors. ‘Mohanam-2016’ was handled by 11 directors who have directed movie with Mohanlal.
