Mimicry Artist Sagar Shiyas Passes Away

Sagar Shiyas, the popular mimicry artist turned actor, passed away. The 51-year-old breathed his last at Tata Hospital Chottanikkara on Thursday, 11 August around 8.30 pm due to kidney failure. He was undergoing treatment for kidney-related ailments, since the past 10 days. Sagar Shiyas, who hails from Muvattupuzha, is survived by wife Shiny, and kids, Aaliya, Amaana, and Ajilm Shiyas. He was active in the mimicry industry from the past 25 years and rose to fame through his portrayal of superstar Rajinikanth, on stage. He was noted for his roles in Anjali Menon's Manjadikuru and Bangalore Days. He last appeared in Nadhirshah directed movie Amar Akbar Anthony.
