Guppy release postponed because of new censor rules

Tovino Thomas starrer Guppy postponed its release to a week longer as the movie's release is delayed due to new censor rules. The team took to their social networking page to share the news. "Dear all, due to the new censor rules a film can be censored only after uploading the content on Qube. Unfortunately the censor date allocated to us after that process is on 28th. It is impossible and impracticable to release a film on 29th after censoring on 28th. So we have been forced to postpone our release date to august 5th. Kindly be with us till 5th and let us meet in person on 5th august." the post went. Guppy, directed by John Paul George, has Tovino and Master Chetan in the lead roles with Rohini and Sreenivasan in important roles.
