The wait is finally over! Southern superstar Rajinikanth's latest release Kabali has gripped the nation on the very day of its release. It's no hidden fact that the entire nation celebrates Rajinikanth's every release like a festival. While many will brave the scorching heat to buy tickets for the film, others feel this is an occasion that calls for a day off from work. The fact that several offices in Chennai have declared July 22 as the official off for the fans, it is clear that the frenzy has gripped the state and many other parts of Southern India.
Rajinikanth's Kabali is an action-thriller which has been written and directed by Pa Ranjith. The film features Rajinikanth as an aged gangster who takes on his enemies to protect his family and business. Produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu, the film also features Radhika Apte, Kishore, Winston Chao, Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan and John Vijay.
The film has got the biggest opening. Almost 4,000 screens across the world will be screening the film. The film's promotion began almost a month back with Air Asia painting their aircraft in Kabali theme. The airlines company also introduced a special flight from Bangalore to Chennai to ferry fans to watch the first day, first show.
