Rustom and Mohenjo Daro might clash at the box office, but there is no bad blood between Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan.
Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama Mohenjo Daro and Neeraj Pandey's thriller Rustom are set to clash at the box office on August 12. But this hasn't led to any bad blood between the lead actors of the two films. In fact, as soon as the trailer of Akhshay Kumar's much-talked-about film Rustom was unveiled, Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to shower praise on Khiladi Kumar as well as the gripping storyline.
The Bang Bang actor, who is currently on a vacation with his kids, congratulated Akhsay for the power-packed performance and also said that he loved the trailer. This very tweet has put an end to the speculation about their rivalry.
At the same time, the Airlift actor also reciprocated the gesture and praised Hrithik for bringing on screen the era of Mohenjo Daro.
While Mohenjo Daro takes you back in time, Akshay's film is also inspired by real-life incident. He plays the role of a naval officer and his character is loosely based on Navy commander KM Nanavati, who was tried for the murder of his wife's lover back in the 50s.
Both the films are set to hit the screen on August 12, and it would be interesting to see which fares better in the box office battle.
