The much-awaited official teaser of Mammootty starrer Kasaba is finally out. The 28 seconds long first teaser of the Nithin Renji Panicker movie is simply brilliant and fascinating. The teaser introduces the central character C.I. Rajan Zachariah played by Mammootty. The megastar looks perfectly fit in this new police avathar, and catches attention with his peculiar walking style. Kasaba stars Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the female lead. Siddique, Jagadish, Sambath, Neha Saxena, etc play the supporting roles. Alice George has produced the movie, under the banner Goodwill Entertainments.
The best thing about the teaser is Rahul Raj's mind-blowing background score, which creates the perfect ambience. The teaser has excellently used the star image of the lead actor Mammootty. Recently, an incomplete teaser of Kasaba was leaked on internet, to the much shock of the team members and Mammootty fans. However, it actually turned up as a perfect promotion for the movie. The leaked teaser had the background score of some recent Telugu movies. Music director Rahul instantly addressed the issue and assured that the original teaser will have original background score.
Kasaba teaser had released at 7PM on 25th June Saturday. By 12 PM on Sunday it had come near 260K. The current teaser record holder in Mollywood is the teaser of Mohanlal starrer film Puli Murugan. Puli Murugan had crossed 270K views in just 11 hours and the 24 hour view count of Puli Murugan is around 430K. Now, Puli Murugan is the only opponent in front of Kasaba teaser.
