Tamil actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, who become a lady don for Malayalam Mammootty’s starrer Kasaba movie.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is the daughter of veteran Tamil actor turned politician Sarathkumar. She made her debut with the Tamil film Poda Podi released in 2012, portraying a London-based dancer. Co-starring alongside Silambarasan, Varalaxmi won critical acclaim for her performance. Soon after the film's release, Varalaxmi worked on Sundar C's masala film,Madha Gaja Raja alongside Vishal, but the film remains unreleased owing to financial troubles.
Now in Kasaba movie she will be seen in the role of a powerful character named Kamala, who is the Don of a village. The character depicted by her is said to be a strong one with a stubborn and strong-willed nature.
Recently, in an interview, the actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar opened up about her character in the film. The actress would be seen donning a very powerful role in Kasaba as a lady don and Sampath Raj is also playing a don role in the movie along with Varu.
Well, by all means it seems like Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has got a perfect launch in Malayalam cinema. Kasaba is all set to hit the theatres on July 7, 2016.
