The 53rd filmfare awards south held at Hyderabad on Sunday.The awards were given to stars of 4 languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada.
Actor vikram secured best actor award for his performance in ‘I’ and Nayanthara was given best actress for her role as a hearing impaired girl in Nanum Rowdadhaan directed by vignesh shivan.
Mohan Raja won the Best Director award for Thani Oruvan starring Jayam Ravi with the Dhanush and Vetrimaaran jointly-produced Kaaka Muttai was adjudged the Best Film award. The Best Music Director award was won by A R Rahman for the movie ‘I’.
