Actor Karthi starring ‘Kaithi’ got released last Friday. The movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has been receiving a good response from all around. The movie had to face stiff competition from Thalapathy Vijay starring ‘Bigil’. Now, we have an interesting update regarding the movie.
‘Kaithi’ movie will get a sequel soon. Yes, the news was disclosed by Actor Karthi himself in a press meet. He said that he had got a call from the director and had asked for 30 days call sheet for 'Kaithi 2'. Interesting the filming of 'Kaithi' was completed in 62 nights. The shooting revolves around a night, where prisoner on parole, is on the way to meet his daughter. He is enlisted to protect a few cops by injured police. They are also followed by an entire lot of gangsters.
Kaithi 2 is expected to kickstart only after Lokesh completes the shooting of Vijay's new film which is tentatively titled as 'Thalapathy 64'. In meanwhile, Actor Karthi is also part of Director Mani Ratnam’s ambitious project Ponniyin Selvan which also stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan, Mohan Babu, Anushka Shetty, and many others.
