Telugu actor Nani’s sports drama movie ‘Jersey’ was one of the biggest commercial hits in Tollywood this year. The film written and directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri saw the actor playing the role of a cricketer. Now, the movie is all set to be remade in Hindi.
The Hindi version of ‘Jersey’ has been officially announced today and actor Shahid Kapoor will play the lead role in the movie. Director Gowtam Tinnanuri will be directing the Hindi version as well. The project will be jointly bankrolled by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, and Dil Raju. The project will go on floors soon and the makers are planning to release the movie by August 28, 2020.
Other versions of the movie are also on the cards. The Tamil rights have been bought by Actor Rana Dagguabati and Actor Vishnu Vishal is expected to play the lead role. Anyway, more details regarding the cast and crew of the Hindi version is expected to be announced soon.
