Actor Jayam Ravi starring ‘Comali’ turned out to be a blockbuster at the box-office. The movie directed by Pradeep Ranganathan also starred Kajal Agarwal and Samyuktha Hegde in lead roles. Now, the movie is getting a Hindi version soon.
The Hindi rights of the movie have been acquired by Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor and reports suggest that his son Arjun Kapoor will be starring in the Hindi version. It is yet to know who will be directing the film and when the makers are planning to start the shooting. ‘Comali’ was a comedy movie which revolved around the life of a person who suddenly recovers one day after being in a coma for 16 years. The difficulties he faces, the changes which have happened in his life and the challenges he has to face tell the rest of the story.
The movie which got released this August emerged as the second biggest hit in Jayam Ravi’s career after ‘Thani Oruvan’. Anyway, the movie is gearing up for remake in many other languages as well. We can wait and watch how things fall out.
