As we had earlier reported Megastar Mammootty will be joining hands with director Ajai Vasudev for a new movie. The actor-director duo had previously worked for the movie RajadhiRaja. Now there is a new update regarding the new project.
The new movie is titled as ‘Shylock’. The movie was officially launched last day at Kochi. Interestingly, the makers have planned to make the movie in both Malayalam and Tamil. Veteran Tamil actor Raj Kiran will be playing a prominent role in the movie. Actress Meena will be the female lead in the movie. As per reports, Mammootty will be playing the role of a financier in the movie. Reports suggest that the actor will be playing a grey shaded character in the movie.
The script of the movie handled by newcomers Bibin Mohan and Aneesh Hameed. The cinematography is handled by Renadive, music is composed by Gopi Sunder. The movie is bankrolled by Joby George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainment. The shooting of the movie is expected to start by mid-August.
