As we reported earlier, Actor Dhanush and Director Vetrimaaran are working on the project “Asuran” after the success of Vada Chennai. The movie also stars Malayalam Actress Manju Warrier in the female lead role. Now, we have an update regarding the project.
The movie has entered the final stage of shooting. The last schedule of the movie was started yesterday. The movie will see Dhanush in dual roles as father and son. The movie marks the debut of Actress Manju Warrier. Actor Pasupati plays a pivotal role in the movie.
The movie is based on Poomani’s novel ‘Vekkai’ novel. The story is said to be a rural drama. The music of the movie is composed by GV Prakash and R. Velraj is handling the camera. The expectation from the team is high as their previous movies ‘Polladhavan’, ‘Aadukalam’ and ‘Vada Chennai’ were critically and commercially successful.
