Director Lijo Pellissery’s much-awaited movie “Jallikkattu” which stars Antony Varghese Pepe, is currently in post-production phase. Now, we have an update regarding this project.
As per industry sources, the makers are planning to release the movie on June as Eid release. The movie is based on the S Hareesh’s short story ‘Maoist’. The movie revolves around the Maoist situation and explores the person’s right of freedom from 2 buffalo’s point of view. The movie stars Chemban Vinod, Vinayakan and Sabumon Abdusamad in pivotal roles. In a recent interview Director, Lijo Pellissery stated that the movie is treated in a unique manner and the movie revolves around a concept which has not to be explored much before.
The music of the movie is composed by Prashanth Pillai and cinematography is handled by Girish Gangadharan. Anyway, we can expect an announced of the release date soon. Stay tuned.
