Madhuri Dixit’s was last seen in the movie “Total Dhamaal” which got released last Friday. The movie has been well received by the audience. The actress will be next seen in “Kalank”.
The shooting of the movie has completed recently. “Kalank” is directed by Abhishek Varman and bankrolled by Karan Johar’s production company Dharma Productions. In fact, Madhuri Dixit role was first given to Actress Sreedevi. It was Director Karan Johar who asked Madhuri Dixit to take up the role. Actress Sreedevi in a recent interview stated that it was an emotional moment to take up Sreedevi’s role in the movie. She also said she had a personal relationship with her and was hard to believe her sudden demise.
Kalank is a movie based on people in India and Pakistan during the 1940s. The movie also features Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapoor in lead roles. The movie is scheduled to release on April 19.
