Blockbuster film 96 to remade in Telugu. The leading roles handled by Sharwanand and Samantha Akkineni. They will be recreated the unforgettable characters Ram and Janaki played by Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha Krishnan in the Tamil original. The film will go on floors in April and expected to release in August this year. Other cast and crew to be announced. Govind Vasantha has been handling music for the Telugu remake 96. Dil Raju will produce the film under his home banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Meanwhile, Sharwanand is busy shooting in Venice with Sudheer Varma. Kajal Aggarwal is female lead of the movie.
