Thala Ajith who is awaiting the release of his movie “Viswasam” on Pongal 2019, will be soon seen in the Tamil Remake of Hindi movie “Pink”. The project has gone on the floors officially with a pooja function held yesterday.
The project is tentatively titled Thala 59 is directed by Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ movie fame Director H. Vinoth. Like earlier reports, this project will be a remake of the Hindi movie “Pink”. The movie dealt with serious and sensitive women issues like women’s dignity and rights. The movie featured Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead. The movie was widely appreciated by audience and critics alike. The movie also bagged National Award for Best Film. Thala Ajith will be reprising the role of Amitabh Bachchan in the Tamil Remake.
As per reports, the script of the movie will have slight changes which suit Tamil Audience. The project is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor. Music Mastero A.R Rahman will be composing the music and Nirav Shah will be handling the camera for the movie. No details about other cast and crew have been announced yet.
