Actor Asif Ali - Aju Varghese movie “Kili Poyi” released in 2013, was different genre movie at that time. The movie was a trendsetter in Malayalam Film Industry which led to several movies releasing in a similar genre. But “Kili Poyi” attained a cult status among youth audience. Now, we have an interesting update regarding this movie.
The makers of “Kili Poyi” are planning for a sequel for the movie. Director Vinay Govind who directed the movie stated in a recent interview that, Kili Poyi movie is immensely popular and have decided to make a sequel to the movie. Currently, the project is in the scripting stage and only Actor Asif Ali and Aju Varghese are on board. Interestingly, it was Actor Asif Ali who suggested Director Vinay Govind for a sequel for the movie.
It would be interesting to know how whole project workouts. Currently, Director Vinay Govind is working on the script of a romantic film. After this project only, the sequel of “Kili Poyi will go on the floor. Anyway, expecting a sequel of Kili Poyi to keep up the expectation of the fans and movie lover.
