Lijo Jose Pelliserry and Chemban Vinod Wins Silver Peacock awards at IIFI for “Ee Ma Yau”
The class new generation director of Malayalam Cinema Lijo Pelliserry and Versatile Actor Chemban Vinod wins the prestigious Silver Peacock award at IIFI for their movie “Ee Ma Yau”.
“Ee Ma Yau” which was widely acclaimed by critics and audience for its realistic approach in making and acting. The film had already won many awards and appreciations around the world. Now the movie has bagged double honors at International Film Festival of India (IFFI), 2018. Director Lijo Jose Pellisery Peacock won the Silver Peacock for Best Director and Actor Chemban Vinod won the Silver Peacock for Best Actor – Male.
“Ee Ma Yau” is a dark satire revolving around the death of an old man. The film had won Director Lijo Pellisery Kerala State Award for Best Director. It’s a really happy moment for Movie Lovers that a good movie is being honored. On work front Lijo Jose Pellisery in currently busy with his new project “Jallikattu” starring Angamaly Diaries fame “Antony Varghese Pepe”.
