Thalapathy Vijay who is having a golden run at the box office by his recent release “Sarkar” doing well at the box office. In meanwhile, Actor has come forward with the new project with Director Atlee. The movie is tentatively titled as “Thalapathy 63”.
The movie marks the third combination of Director Atlee with Actor Vijay after blockbuster movies “Theri” and “Mersal”. The project is bankrolled by AGS Entertainments. As per reports, the project will be a sports drama in the lines of Actor Vijay’s successful film “Ghilli”. Actor Vivek and Yogi Babu are also part of the project. Actor Vivek and Vijay are joining hands after the movie Kuruvi (2008). Actor Yogi Babu was also part of Sarkar movie. On the technical side Music department will be handled by Music Maestro AR Rahman. G V Vishnu will be handling the cinematography and Stunt by Anal Arasu.
Reports suggest that “Geetha Govindam” fame Rashmika Mandanna will be the female lead of the movie. Currently, the movie is in pre-production stage and the shooting of the movie is expected to start by January 2019. The makers are planning to release the movie on Diwali 2019. The expectations are huge for this project even fanmade posters of the movie is getting viral in social media circles. Anyway, for this Diwali “Sarkar” set the cash registers ringing at the box office, hoping Thalapathy 63 will set the box office on fire for next Diwali as well. Stay tuned for new updates.
