Actor Mohanlal – Director Priyadarshan combo is considered to one of the best actor-director duos in Malayalam. Whenever they have joined together, they have created history at the box office. Now there is an update regarding their dream project Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
According to reports Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham film will be only releasing in 2020. The shooting for the movie was planned to kick start on November 1st but has been shifted to December 1st week. When asked to Director Priyadarshan regarding the release date of the movie, the director stated that movie shooting will be wrapped up in 6 months’ time. The post-production of the movie may take time. The team planning to give maximum attention to the post-production work of the movie and will done by foreign technicians.
Director Priyadarshan's confirmed that chances of releasing the movie on 2019 are less, as the movie demands time for post-production work. Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham movie is based on the life of Kunjali Marakkar IV, the naval chief of Zamorin of Calicut. The movie will see Actor Pranav Mohanlal play the younger part of Mohanlal’s character. The movie also stars Arjun Sarja, Suniel Shetty, Manju Warrier, Pooja Kumar, Veteran Actor, Madhu, Mukesh, Keerthy Suresh, Kalyani Priyadarshan. The makers are planning to cast foreign actors as well.
The movie is said to be made on budget of 100 crores which will be bankrolled by Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group, and Moonshot Entertainment. Anyway, we are eagerly waiting for the movie to kickstart soon.
