All movie lovers were overjoyed when they heard that Director Amal Neerad is going to make a sequel to his stylish movie Big B starring Megastar Mammootty. Now we have an interesting updated regarding this project.
The sequel of Big B titled as “Bilal” will start rolling from next year. Director Amal Neerad in a recent interview had stated that the project is not dropped, and it's in the scripting stage. He also said that the shooting of the movie will start next year once he is convinced with the script. Big B which released on 2007 is considered to be one of the most stylish movies made in Malayalam ever. Even though the film performed average at the box-office, over the years the film has gained a cult status among the audience. Power Packed performance by Megastar Mammootty was the highlight of the movie. The subtle performance of Mammootty was acclaimed by all.
On the work front, Amal Neerad last film “Varathan” starring Actor Fahadh Faasil was very successful at box office. Currently, Amal Neerad is handling the cinematography of “Trance” directed by Anwar Rasheed. In meanwhile, Megastar Mammootty is busy with his movie “Madhura Raja”, a sequel of Pookriraja. He is also awaiting the release of his Tamil Movie "Peranbu" and Telugu Movie "Yatra". Anyway, we expect new updates of the movie “Bilal” soon.
