The much-awaited movie “Petta” starring Superstar Rajinikanth directed by Karthik Subbaraj shooting has been completed.
The shooting for the movie started a few months back and the team was shooting in various parts of North India. The movie has been wrapped up and Superstar Rajinikanth took to his official Twitter handle on the occasion of Vijayadashami that, the shooting of the movie has been completed 15 days ahead of the schedule.
As per reports, the movie will be an action flick in which Superstar Rajinikanth will be seen in two different getups. The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Bobby Simha, Malavika Mohanan, Sasikumar and Megha Akash in the lead roles.
The music of the movie is composed by Anirudh and cinematography is handled by Tirru. The movie is produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures banner. The makers are planning to release it on early next year. It is rumored that Pongal 2019 will see Petta fight with Ajith starrer Viswasam. Anyway, we have to wait for the final confirmation.
