Mohanlal has confirmed that he will be returning the remuneration received for the Lalism to the government. The actor has been receiving huge criticisms for the poor performance of his band at the National Games inaugural function. Hence the actor, through his official Facebook page, announced his decision about returning the money to the Government.
The actor has also mentioned that he is really upset and hurt in people's response to his wholehearted efforts. Mohanlal also clarified that the actor decided to launch the Lalism at National Games Inaugural Ceremony only because of the insistence of Chief Minister and Sports Minister.
The actor also told that, even if he didn't receive any remuneration for himself, the band has received an amount of 1,63,77,600 Rupees for its technical sides and for other band members. As the event was not up to the level, the actor has decided to return this amount to the Government.
