When Director Priyadarshan announced the Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham with Mohanlal. The buzz created was huge in fans and film circle. The film became the most anticipated and talked about the movie.
Now, we have got an interesting update about the movie that, Pranav Mohanlal is going to be a part of the movie. Pranav will be essaying the younger version of his Father Mohanlal’s character Kunjali Marakkar. An official announcement was made the official page of the film confirming the same. The official page of the film stated that; “Yes… It really happens… Pranav Mohanlal will make a special appearance in Marakkar – Arabikadalinte Simham as the young #KunjaliMarakkar… ?? We all are excited…,”.
It would be interesting to see how everything works out. Anyway casting for the film is on the process. The makers are planning to start the shot from November 2018. According to reports, senior actor Prabhu has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the movie. Mohanlal & Prabhu had previously shared screen space 22 years ago for the movie Kaalapani. Actor Madhoo is also said to have been brought on board for the project. Some reports even suggested that Telugu Superstar Nagarjuna and Bollywood actors Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal where approached by the makers. But still, no official confirmation has come from the maker’s side.
Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham touted to be a war film, is being bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T. Kuruvilla, and C.J. Roy and is touted to one of the most expensive films in Malayalam. On Technical side, the sets would be designed by National Award-winning production designer Sabu Cyril. Notably, Cyril has worked with Priyadarshan on 43 films so far.
Anyway, as days pass on the curiosity for the film is increasing. Let’s wait for the new updates regarding the movie.
