Malayalam hit film 1971 Beyond Borders remade into Telugu titled Yudhabhoomi. 1971 Beyond Borders starring Mollywood superstar Mohanlal and helmed by Major Ravi. Allu Sirish part of the Telugu version and so the Telugu makers found it an added attraction. Mohanlal reprise his role as Colonel Mahadevan and an additional character of Major Sahadevan.
