Director K Madhu have earlier announced that he would be teaming up with Mammootty for the upcoming sequel of CBI movies. Now, according to sources the team are now planning to start the shooting by early next year. The movie is said to be inspired by real life incidents and is scripted by SN Swamy. Renji Panicker will be playing an important role in this film. Mukesh won’t be a part of this sequel. Meanwhile, Mammootty’s next release will be Pullikaaran Staara directed by Syam Dhar, which is slated to release on September 1, 2017.
