Mersal: The first south Indian movie to get trademarked!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie Mersal has became the first south Indian movie to get an emoji on Twitter. And now the team trademarked its title, thus making it the first south Indian movie to trademark its title. Trademarking a title means, If anybody uses the term Mersal for commercial purposes, they have to pay royalty to Mersal’s producers. The team revealed that it took six months to get the trademark process done. The movie stars Kajal, Samantha and Nitya Menen in the female leads. Directed by Atlee Kumar, Mersal is expected to hit theaters on October 18, 2017.
