The much awaited Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Jab Harry Met Sejal directed by Imtiaz Ali hit screens today. The story is about Sejal, played by Anushka Sharma who realizes that she lost her engagement ring while her entire family takes off to India. She told her parents that she will get back to India only when she finds the ring. She then accompanied by a tour guide Harry, played by Shah Rukh. They together set off visiting the exact same places they visited and what happens next forms the crux of the story. The plot seems the same as that of Imtiaz’s earlier films like Jab We Met and Tamasha. Sejal is engaged to Rupen but ends up falling for Harry. The music is average. The frames are pretty. Cinematographer K.U Mohanan has captured every scenes perfectly. It caresses Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon and the wheat fields of Punjab. Jab Harry Met Sejal is absolutely predictable and it’s big disappointment to see Shah Rukh returning to his comfort zone and yet not performing at the top of his powers.
