Shruti Haasan has backed out of Sundar C’s multi-lingual project ‘Sangamithra’ following disagreements with the makers. The official Twitter handle of the film's presenters and distributors, Sri Thenandal Films, shared on Monday, "Due to unavoidable circumstances, we are unable to proceed working with Shruti Haasan in Sangamithra”. The actress and director recently unveiled the first look at Cannes Film Festival. But the actress's spokesperson shared that she had to walk out of the film despite having begun extensive prep for the part. Shruti is currently promoting her upcoming film ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ and will soon start her upcoming Tamil-Telugu movie ‘Sabaash Naidu’ directed and produced by her father Kamal Haasan.
