Actor Chiyaan Vikram, one of the leading actors of Tamil Cinema is celebrating his 51st birthday today. He made his debut with ‘En Kadhal Kanmani’ released in 1990. It was director Bala’s tragedy film Sethu (1999) that gave him the much needed break. After that he acted in several masala films like Dhill (2001), Gemini (2002) and Saamy (2003) becoming commercially successful ventures and this made him one of the top five stars of Kollywood box office. He won National award for best actor for his performance in Pithamagan (2003). It was director Shankar who gave space for Vikram's phenomenal acting skills as well as mass star image in both of his films 'Anniyan' and 'I'. He is now acting in 'Sketch' directed by Vijay Chander and 'Dhruva Natchathiram' directed by Gautham Menon.
