Joy Mathew’s first directorial ‘Shutter’ gained critical reviews because of the way it unveils a story that takes place in the city of Kozhikode. The story was well received by the audience. The movie won the audience prize at 17th International Film Festival of Kerala. Joy Mathew has now announced that he started initial works for his next film which is based on the subject of extremist politics and naxal politics of Kerala during 70s and 80s.
