The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has announced the 91 tunes eligible to compete for this year’s Best Original Songs. ‘We will rise’ song from Jayaraj’s Veeram has entered 84th postion in the list. From this list, five songs will get nominated on January 24. Oscar awards will be announced on February 26. Lyrics has been penned by Kavalam Narayana Narayana Panicker and music has been composed by M.K Arjun master. The film tells the story of Chandu Chekavar an infamous warrior in the 13th century North Malabar. Kunal Kapoor plays the role of Chandu Chekavar. The film boasts a number of technicians from Hollywood. The stunt choreography is done by Allan Poppleton and background music by Jeff Rona.
