STORY: The movie revolves around the story of Prashanth (Vijay) who is a happy go lucky youth. He takes things very easy in his life. Seeing his carefree attitude, his father decided to get him married. His father chooses a career oriented girl Chitra (Ritu Varma).

But, Chitra tells to him that she is not interested in getting married and wants to start a food truck business. He then decides to move on in life and finds yet another girl in a well to do family.

But there too, he gets disappointed as his would be father in law asks him to start up his own business first and then ask for his daughter’s hand. Left with no choice, Prashanth seeks Chitra’s help and starts a food truck business in partnership.

As expected, cupid strikes between the two who now have different personal goals. Rest of the story is how this couple solve their individual problems and get united in the end.

REVIEW: The biggest asset of this film is its freshness. The story is interesting. The director narrates the journey of the two leads by bringing in friends and family members who brighten up the proceedings. Director Tharun Bhascker beautifully etched roles for every actor in the film.

Vijay Devarakonda who played the role of Prashanth is outstanding. His chemistry between Ritu is amazing. Ritu Varma who played the role as strong independent girl also did well. The supporting casts also performed well.

First half of the film is brilliant. The love story between the couple and the confrontational scenes have been designed with a lot of freshness. But in second half, some scenes look repetitive.

Pelli Choopulu is one of the well-made film in recent times. The movie discuss societal pressures that makes parents want their daughter to get married, they talk about being responsible, there's discussion about believing in oneself and following dreams.

Camera work is top notch. Music by Vivek Sagar makes the film a delight to experience.
