REVIEW: It is one of the rare sports drama films made in the history of Mollywood.
Manju Warrier has done a decent performance as Vandhana, an efficient volleyball coach and a loving wife. Anoop Menon is at his usual best as Aby. The rest of the star cast, including Suraj Venjarammoodu, Babu Antony, Sudev Nair, Lena, Sudheer Karamana, Padmaraj Ratheesh, Baiju, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Manikuttan, Nandu, Jacob Gregory, etc. have also played their parts realistically.
Director Deepu Karunakaran really made this film an entertaining as well as an inspiring one. Screenplay by Arunlal Ramachandran was also superb. The dialogues were never dramatic and it was very natural too. Jayakrishna Gummadi's excellent visualisation creates the perfect ambience for the sports-based movie. Music by Rahul Raj really gelled with the theme of the movie. Background score was really superb. Camera work from Jayakrishna and Editing by V Sajan was really given the film the exactness it needed to tell a story based on sports.
Karinkunnam Sixes is a really good inspirational Film and it is a kind of movie which you never really seen often in Malayalam cinema.
