STORY: The hero (Santhanam) and heroine (Shanaya) are madly in love but like in usual films, their relationship is opposed by her father played by Saurabh Shukla. In order to break them apart, her father uses the help of a baddie (Mottai Rajendran) to teach the boy a lesson.
The villain now hatches a plan and ensures to bring Santhanam to a haunted house without knowing that the bungalow is affected by spirits. The remaining part of the story turns out to be a rib-tickling affair.
REVIEW: Director Rambhala has prior experience in writing and directing TV Shows and this is his first feature film as a director. He has merely concentrated on making the audience laugh and has succeeded in that. Dialogues are worth mentioning. But in first half the laughter moments are comparatively less. While the first half is not up to the mark, the second half is hilariously brilliant.
Santhanam has done an excellent job and improved his performance compared to previous films. Shanaya also did well. Mottai Rajendran has done a fantastic performance.
Music by Thaman could have been better but background score is appreciable and it manages to hook up the audience in scary scenes. Cinematography is also good.
Deepak Kumar Padhy’s visuals give us the spooky feel during the night scenes, and pleasantness in daylight scenes. Horror films like these need a good production design to make the audience believe that the house is haunted. A.R.Mohan and his team have given their best in that.
