Anasuya (Samantha) is the only daughter of rich couple Ramalingam (Naresh) and Mahalakshmi (Nadiya). She is always compromising as most of her life decisions are taken by her mother, including that of her marriage.
She even tries to kill herself, but that doesn’t change her mother’s mind. But her father Ramalingam, understands and supports her, as he too doesn’t dare to go against Mahalakshmi.
When her mother goes to Chennai for some work, Ramalingam secretly sends his daughter to her aunt’s house in Kaluvapudi village near Vijayawada. Here she meets Anand (Nithin) and falls in love.
Meanwhile, a local landlord (Rao Ramesh) is forcing Anand to get married to his daughter Naga Valli (Anupama Parameshwaran). Anasuya likes the atmosphere in the village and the affection she receives. She also comes to know that Anand is her own brother-in-law and there are some misunderstandings between the two families. The story is thus about how Anasuya and Anand unite the families.
Though the film is loosely based on the popular novel Meena, written by Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani and Trivikram has made it his own.
The film is technically good as cinematographer Nataraj Subramanian has captured the village scenes very well. Music by Mickey J. Mayer is soothing and the background score is good. Art director A.S. Prakash too should be mentioned for his work.
'A Aa' has no exciting storyline, but the performances surely are a great takeaway. Watch out for some nice scenes and visuals. However, 'A.. Aa..' is a clean family entertainer and can say that Trivikram is back with a bang.
